We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children, young people, and adults at risk who take part in our sport. Our goal is to ensure that everyone participating in gymnastics enjoys a safe, positive, and rewarding experience—and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Park Wrekin follows the Safeguarding Policies set out by British Gymnastics. These detailed guidelines can be found on the British Gymnastics Safeguarding Page.
We have appointed Samantha Paddock as our Club Head of Welfare. Samantha works closely with Kay Woolrich, our onsite Welfare Officer. Additionally British Gymnastics has both regional & national Welfare Officers whose contact details can be found on their website together with a useful Reporting Safeguarding & Child Protection Concerns flowchart.
