First Senior European Championships for Alice Kinsella

Senior GB Gymnast, Alice Kinsella was called in to replace an injured Georgia-Mae Fenton at the 2017 European Gymnastics Championships 2017.

Without having chance to complete podium training due to short notice, Alice competed in the qualification event and managed to qualify for he All Around Final. An unfortunate fall on beam (Alice’s best piece) kept her out of the top 8 to compete in the event final on this piece.

Alice, competed brilliantly in the all-around event final, finishing 10th in her first year as a senior and first ever major international (with a fall on bars). She performed beautifully, especially considering she was a late replacement.
