Alice Kinsella will compete for GB at the 2017 World Championships

Alice Kinsella, our first year senior gymnast and GB Squad member has been selected to compete for the GB Team at the upcoming World Championships in Montreal, Canada, along side teammates Claudia Fragapane, Amy Tinkler and Georgia-Mae Fenton.

Alice has been the breakout new senior this year, and we are delighted that she has been chosen to compete amongst some of the best gymnasts in the world.

Alice will be hoping to qualify for the All Around Final, in which gymnasts have to perform well on all four apparatus. The overall score from each piece will provide gymnasts with a world ranking.

Best of luck to Alice, and her coach Brett Ince – what an incredible achievement to be selected to go to a World Championships. As Brett always says, “those who work the hardest will go the farthest”.

Another huge well done to our senior gymnast, Charlie Fellows, who was selected as world reserve for the upcoming championships.

Be sure to look out for Alice and the rest of the BG Squad on the BBC over the next few weeks.

Big well done to all our gymnasts over the weekend and for their hard work in the gym.
